How Paldo handles your data on this website, and the rights you have over it.

This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how Paldo collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use this website, and the rights you have over that data. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the Paldo marketing website. Paldo is operated from Oslo, Norway, and is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, contact info@paldo.ai. Logging into the Paldo platform at paldoapp.com is governed by separate terms provided at sign-up.
2. What we collect
- Things you send us: when you use our contact form or book a call, we collect your name, work email, company and message.
- Analytics (only with your consent): usage data via Google Analytics and Mixpanel, such as pages visited, device and approximate location.
- Technical logs: standard server logs needed to run and secure the site.
We do not knowingly collect any special-category (sensitive) data through this website, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Cookies
We only set non-essential (analytics) cookies after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice any time using .
- paldo-consent: remembers your cookie choice (strictly necessary, 12 months).
- _ga, _ga_*: Google Analytics 4 usage analytics (consent, up to 24 months).
- mp_*: Mixpanel product analytics (consent).
4. Why we use it (lawful basis)
- Consent for analytics cookies.
- Legitimate interest to respond to your enquiries and improve the site.
- Contract where you become a customer.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted processors to run the site: Google (Analytics), Mixpanel (analytics), Calendly (demo booking), and our hosting and email providers. Each only processes data on our instructions. We never sell your personal data or share it for third-party advertising.
6. International transfers
Some of our processors are based outside the EEA (for example in the US). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision to keep it protected.
7. How we keep it safe
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data (rectification).
- Have your data erased, also known as the "right to be forgotten".
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Complain to a supervisory authority (in Norway, Datatilsynet).

9. Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period, then delete it. Analytics retention follows the periods listed above.
10. Children
This website and Paldo's services are intended for business use and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
